Ingredients to Make Jumbo Breakfast Cookies
- Two cups of white sugar
- One cup of peanut butter
- 1 cup butter
- Half a cup of water
- Two tablespoons of vanilla extract
- Two large eggs
- Two and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- One teaspoon of baking soda
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- One and half cups of rolled oats
- One and a half cups of raisins
- Six cups of toasted cereal rings made from oats, like Cheerios
Directions to Make Jumbo Breakfast Cookies
- Assemble the ingredients. Heat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius, or 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, peanut butter, butter, water, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir the salt, baking soda, and flour into the cookie batter. Add the raisins and oats, then slowly stir in the cereal.
- Place half a cup of dough onto cookie sheets that have not been greased, leaving a 4-inch gap between each cookie. Press cookies to a thickness of 1 inch.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the edges of the cookies are just beginning to brown. After five minutes of standing on the cookie sheets, move them to wire racks to finish cooling. Keep it at room temperature.
