top and bake.
Nutty French Toast Recipe

Ingredients to Make Nutty French Toast
- Twelve 1-inch-thick slices of French bread
- Eight large eggs
- Two cups of whole milk
- Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and two teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- One and 1/3 cups of brown sugar, packed
- Three tablespoons of dark corn syrup
- One cup of walnuts, chopped
Directions to Make Nutty French Toast
- Put the bread in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish that has been oiled. Beat the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a large bowl, then pour the mixture over the bread. Refrigerate overnight with a lid on. Half an hour before baking, take it out of the fridge.
- In the meantime, smooth out the butter, brown sugar, and syrup in a bowl and spread it over the bread. Add some nuts. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, uncovered, or until golden brown.
